After a long delay, members of the Western Theater in the Civil War Facebook group stepped up and donated enough money to create 1,000 of the From Berlin to Buffington driving tour brochures that we had designed two years ago. The brochures were given a bit of a facelift - going to colors that are a bit easier on the eyes.

The driving tour starts at Berlin Cross Roads and ends at the Buffington Island State Memorial. Sixty miles in length, there are eleven stops along the way. While similar to the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, there are additional stops added.
Next week the tourism offices of Jackson, Vinton, and Meigs Counties will have copies of the brochure, and there will be some available at the Berlin Cross Roads tour stop. The purpose of the brochure is to create more awareness of the Indiana-Ohio Raid while bringing tourism dollars to the region.
