Join the Buffington Island Battlefield Preservation Foundation for the annual Memorial Service being held at the Battlefield Memorial Park at 11:00 A. M. The Sons of Union Veterans are the longtime hosts of this event.
UPDATE - The Portland Community Center will not be offering a lunch this year. It is unknown if the Civil War museum inside the center will be open.
